Horse Riding Lessons in the Denver Metro Area
Lessons at Red Star Barn Riding Academy are available in any style and skill level. Whether you are a first timer looking for a new hobby, or a seasoned rider looking to perfect your skills, Christine Overholt has the education and know-how to take your riding to a new level.
All lessons are private at the rate of $50 per hour (as of 6/15/2021). The lesson hour includes catching, saddling, ride time, and untacking... All the essential knowledge for owning a horse. For children 6 or under half hour lessons are available for $25 (as of 6/15/2021). Events or special activities will be rated accordingly. When you/the rider are ready, the opportunity to attend local shows is close at hand. Lets make a plan!
Western: The western saddle is designed to give you a secure, comfortable ride. Ideal for reining, ranch sorting, or a casual trail ride.
English Hunt Seat: The hunt-seat saddle (a type of English saddle) was originally designed for fox hunters therefore position the rider to be comfortable riding on the flat or over jumps.
